Air Jam technology lets you connect up to four iPod or Android devices to your networked VSX-1022-K receiver using Pioneer's Bluetooth adapter. With Pioneer's free Air Jam app, you and your friends can make a group playlist of songs from multiple devices — a great way to share music during a party. Or use the Bluetooth adapter simply to untether yourself from cables to play stored tunes wirelessly. Pioneer's Sound Retriever AIR technology was created specifically to enhance Bluetooth audio, so your wireless music will sound its best.

The 1022-K also does a little high-tech magic on your non-HD video sources. It uses sophisticated video upscaling so older videos will look sharp. Plus the video will pass through HDMI to your television, saving you the trouble of remembering which input to switch to.

Pioneer's exclusive Multi-Channel Acoustic Calibration® system (MCACC) delivers accurate home theater sound, customized for your specific room and speakers. It uses an included microphone to measure speaker characteristics like size, distance from the listening point, sound levels, and timbre, then calibrates the receiver's settings for maximum performance.
