The Sony RDR-GX255 is a DVD recorder that can record home movies and television shows directly from a cable box or satellite receiver. It can record onto DVD-R/W, DVD-R DL, and DVD+R discs with eight different recording speeds. It can also play DVD-Audio and JPEG formats. The RDR-GX255 has noise reduction technology and upscaling technology that can enhance 480p video up to 1080i output. It also has DTS; output for home-theater audio.
